Sports Chiropractic

Sports Chiropractic has always been a big part of our practice over the years we have treated many recreational and elite athletes. We have developed treatment protocols that have been able to enhance athlete’s performance and reduce injuries.

One of our biggest joys was our long association with the Canterbury Bulldogs. The clinics connection with the Bulldogs began in 1998 when Nick was asked to relieve the existing club chiropractor due to illness. That year Nick attended every game and treated the players in the sheds before they ran on the field. The NRL players are some of Australia’s fittest and toughest athletes and it has been a wonderful experience being associated with the club and treating the players. Our association with the Bulldogs finished in 2008 after Steven Folkes retired as the Canterbury coach. Through our connection with the Bulldogs we have been referred NRL players from other clubs. This included three years working with the Cronulla Sharks from 2004 to 2006 and occasionally treating players from other teams e.g. Scott Prince throughout 2006 when the West Tigers won the Grand Final.

During the years of intense work with the NRL teams we have developed numerous protocols that has helped us successfully treat many athletes. Over several decades of practice we have seen time and time again the significant benefits of chiropractic care for recreational and elite athletes
